A Shopify store is never finished. Apps update, themes release new versions, Shopify changes how features work, and small problems like a broken filter or a slow page quietly cost sales until someone notices.
We are a UK Shopify agency based in Brighton, offering Shopify maintenance and support on a monthly retainer. One team looks after your store's fixes, updates, speed and new features, so problems are caught early and changes go live safely.
Curious what slows a store down? Our guide to your Shopify speed score explains one of the checks we run every month.
Every retainer starts with a health check of your store: theme version, apps, speed, tracking, accessibility and security settings. From that we agree a list of fixes and improvements, ranked by what matters most to your sales.
Each month we work through that list, handle new requests as they come in, and check the store after every Shopify, theme or app change. You can email us, call us or raise requests in our weekly calls, and we reply within 24 hours. There is no ticket system and no waiting for set development days.
Retainers start from £650 a month plus VAT and are billed one month in arrears. There is no long contract, so you can leave at any time, and our prices are published on our Shopify packages page.
Theme updates bring bug fixes and new features. They carry over your editor settings, but code changes made by developers or apps may not come across, so updating without checking can quietly remove custom features.
We update themes and apps on an unpublished copy first, carry your customisations across, test the key pages and checkout, then publish. We also remove apps you no longer use, along with the code they leave behind.
Our guide to Online Store 2.0 explains why current themes matter, and our best Shopify apps guide covers the apps we trust.
Shopify secures the platform, but who can change your store is up to you. We review staff accounts, collaborator access and app permissions, remove what is no longer needed, and make sure two step login is switched on for everyone with access.
Tracking gets the same attention. Theme and app changes can break the connection between Shopify and GA4 or your ad platforms, and broken conversion tracking is the most common problem we find in the Google Ads accounts we inherit, so we check it after every change.
Our Google Ads audit checklist lists the tracking checks we run.
